Post-modernism

Having read how the diversity of styles in the visual arts of the nineteenth century proliferated even more in the twentieth century and beyond as “post-modernism” challenged “modernism”, we can see how traditional artistic values seemed irrelevant in the aftermath of the destruction of two World Wars and a Cold War. More and more, artists showed the importance of personal artistic vision to society.
