5 pain points and solutions
Key Objectives
Declare a name for your app! Identify the key features of your app. Work together to analyze all of the research data to identify pain points & their solutions, your key features, and then prepare the initial wireframes.
Part One
Identify Pain Point Solutions
Consider any financial, process, productivity, or support pain points.
Identify at least 5 different pain points that already exist for your target audlence/app concept and brlefly describe your solution for each.
Example:
Pain Point:
Students are having trouble finding tutors who speak their native language
Solution:
Tutors will declare their spoken languages when registering with our app and users can filter by speaking languages when searching
Part Two
Research Analysis
Answer the following questions In as much detail as you can:
Will you approach this from a Blue Ocean Strategy or a Red Ocean Strategy? Why?
Based on your research, list 3 key features that make your app desirable to your target audience
List a few different apps that you would consider your competition for this app concept
How will you set your app apart from any existing or future competition? What makes your app better or different than the others?
List at least 2 things that you learned about your users or target audience during your research that you didn’t know before
Wireframes
Draw initial wireframes
They can be low-fidelity or medium-fidelity but should not be high-fidelity at this stage! We will finish the design and create high-fidelity prototypes after this check-in.
What we are looking to focus on at this stage is simply just the “where and how” of each screen. These can be hand drawn on paper or using any design tool that you are comfortable with.
Try to focus on things like:
Which elements will be needed on screen and where will they go?
How will users navigate the app?
What is the flow/structure of the app?
Do users need to register and login?
What features are necessary?
What will users need to see on each screen to accomplish tasks?
Where will key features go? How do users navigate to that?
