Professional Writing Discussion Posts
You are expected to make an initial post responding to the instructors question(s). Specific instructions are provided for each discussion below. Part One: Logos, Ethos, Pathos
Describe situations where you have had to use all of the persuasive elements: logos, ethos, and pathos. The situations can be verbal or written, formal or informal, but you should clearly define each term and show how each three elements were used.
Part Two: Persuasion Using AIDA
Describe a situation where you could have (or did) use AIDA (attention, interest, desire, and action) to persuade someone to do or believe something. It can be verbal or written, formal or informal, but it must apply each principle accurately.
