Constructing a National Think Tank for Community Relations

After reading the article,  (Linked below), complete the below assignment.

You have been appointed as Chairperson for a National Think Tank. Your mission as chairperson is to assemble 9 other members to this National Think Tank whose purpose is to address educational, economic, security and health issues plaguing communities throughout the United States.  You need to use real people whether dead or alive and list their names and credentials to service in the position you appoint them to.  Your think tank must also include one person to represent the media that would serve as the spokesperson for your National Think Tank.  Therefore, you need to fill the following categories:

• Education
• Economics
• Security
• Health
• Media (only 1 member required)

Use your research skills and the knowledge you gained about stakeholders to choose your members.  List the 9 individuals you would select to serve on this National Think Tank.

Explain why you have selected each of these individuals, what are their expertise and what do you expect in terms of strategies that each of these individuals could possibly contribute to address the educational, economic, security and health issues plaguing communities throughout the United States.

Directions:  Students’ postings and responses on the discussion forum should be very detailed and reflect critical thinking skills. Your posting to the question should be a minimum of 300 words. Your posting to the question should provide an APA reference for each of the 9 members indicating where you obtained the information about the person.  I want you to research people not just list them and general information.  Include an APA reference list at the end of your posting.
