A journal is to be maintained throughout the field experience, ending with the final 20 hours of field. In each journal you are to complete the required sections provided below. Journal recording is a process that will help you continue to develop your recall and recording skills and your ability to commit your observations, feelings, and responses in a professional form of written communication. It is encouraged to utilize and cite professional literature for each journal. While journals are a method to address your concerns about practice or the field agency, it is neither a place for your personal opinion, nor a place to vent, pick apart or rant about your field experience. This is a professional summary, utilizing your professional writing skills to capture and appropriately describe your experience.
