Artificial Intelligence (AI) can make an enhance an organizations forecasting/demand planning, real-time supply chain visibility, streamlining logistics/operations, supplier collaboration and sustainable practices (Benson, 2024). “AI revolutionizes supply chain decision-making by providing unprecedented insight, efficiency, and resilience” (Benson, 2024). AI has drastically improve our health care systems by bettering their monitoring and diagnostic capabilities (Marr, 2024). “One estimate from McKinsey predicts that big data could save medicine and pharma up to $100 billion annually” (Marr, 2024). It can give the medical staff a better diagnosis for patients that have personalized treatment plans and drug protocols to better fine tune their needs (Marr, 2024). I have just recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have started treatment with a air sense 11 CPAP machine. The machine is a great example of what AI is capable of and how it adjust to my specific need. While I’m sleeping it monitors my patterns to give me the airflow that I need to keep my airways open to get the proper sleep that I need. It has an app that records all of the information that my doctor needs to make educated decision on my medical treatment. Without AI this would be impossible to treat accurately.
