Dream group
You will develop a plan for your entire Dream Group, which is to reflect a time period of 1.5 hours in length. It is to be a detailed plan. A support group or educational group might easiest. Review the book, Chapter 4 (See sample plans).
The reason I am stressing that you are planning a Support Group, Educational Group or a basic group of a non-therapeutic topic. The reason for this is that your group CANNOT BE a “Therapy Group” because you will not be a therapist after this class or the HUS Program, and I want what your plan to be in line with your the education you are pursuing at this time. With an Associate’s Degree in HUS you can run groups, but just not therapeutic groups. Learning to stay in your lane is important. Some of you will one day be a therapist, but today is not the day.

You are to refer to Chapter 4 of your book. You must spend time in this chapter (I can see the level of engagement you have in Cengage). You will see examples of plans. Remember these are just plans you are to use as a guide. These plans are geared towards a therapy group, but I do not want your plan to be a therapy group. You are to convert learned information to a SUPPORT GROUP/EDUCATIONAL GROUP/GENERAL GROUP, not a therapy group. WHY?…because you will not be a therapist after this class or with your two-year degree — stay in your lane. If you have an actual book the plans will begin on page 84.
