Working hypothesis
Purpose:
Students will build working hypothesis about potential problems and solutions for clients and communities based on information in the Department of Justice’s Report about the judicial system in Ferguson Missouri.
See assignment specifications in the syllabus and assignment 5 in the Digital Campus, as well as the grading rubric.
Create a working hypothesis about the impact of structural racism on the Ferguson community
Choose ONE of the following points of view to reflect from: people of color, the dominant (White) culture, or residents as a whole
Use the steps of critical thinking (from week 2): 1.) identify assumptions; 2.) contemporary standpoint; 3.) searching for exceptions; and 4.) reflective analysis
Suggestion to go back to the lecture in asynchronous module two (“Steps to Critical Thinking”) to review the content before writing your paper
Paper does not exceed 2500 words.
