Hello class,
Each learning experience will dictate how we look at things and process them. In reading your initial thoughts about how people learn differently, how we plan our learning out is impacted as well. Different things go into the reasoning as to why we have different modalities. Some people can disregard facts due to perception, it also comes down to time spent on learning (Saade et al., 2012). As adult learners, we often overlook one of our biggest hurdles of learning, the ability to manage our time (Bullen & Salinas, 1998).
Have you all ever heard of the Johari Window? The Johari Window discusses how we sometimes have awareness of knowledge and sometimes we do not. It is part of brain research.
