Let’s Do Some Cardio!
I think the weather is finally going to be nice. Let’s get outside!! Summer is around the corner!!
Power walking and Jogging is always a great place to start for great cardio exercise. You have your choice based on what is more comfortable for you. I want you to power walk or jog for 10 minutes straight and evaluate how you feel after 10 minutes. That means check your heart rate on your heart rate monitor or take it manually (instructions on this were provided). If you feel good (hopefully challenged) and you are comfortable continuing then add another 10 minutes to this workout. Depending how you feel, you can add 10 more minutes until you are at your desirable length of time to workout.

Some of you may already be able to easily walk or jog for more than 30 minutes, if so then do a duration that is challenging for you and pay close attention to where your heart rate is throughout the sessions. You may want to increase intensity (heart rate) and cut back a bit on duration (time of exercise session) to try to burn more calories and push yourself appropriately.
