Introduction
Managing people is often the most challenging part of being a manager. One of the biggest challenges for managers, according to Harvard Business Review, is figuring out how to get employees to follow directions and do what they’re told without being confrontational or bossy. Managers need to be able to motivate employees who may not be motivated by money or career advancement but rather by something deeper: mastery over their own work lives. But how do you motivate someone who’s not happy doing what they’re doing? And how can you ensure that your employees will deliver quality results without disrupting the flow of their daily tasks? These are some of the questions that come up in any workplace where managers must coordinate multiple departments’ efforts toward common goals.

Communication is a key skill for managers, whether you’re a CEO or a team leader. It’s important to know how to communicate effectively so that people can understand what you want them to do and get it done on time.
