Meaningful work has been shown by researchers like Martin Seligman (author) who studied positive psychology through his Positive Psychology Center at Penn State University since 1987; he has found that people who work in meaningful environments tend not only enjoy themselves but perform better than those who do not have meaningful jobs or projects at hand.
