I enthusiastically submit my application for the position of Marketing Coordinator with the Madison Mallards. I believe that my knowledge and abilities, diverse experiences, and career aspirations are an excellent fit with the duties of the Marketing Coordinator.
As a result of working in many different aspects of business, as well as being involved in sports my entire life, I believe that I bring the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a Marketing Coordinator. I have taught the fundamentals of sports to youth players, which gives me the knowledge and background needed for sports operations. Working in customer service in the restaurant industry gave me the knowledge and ability to interact with different types of people, to work as a team to achieve goals, and to ensure customer satisfaction. Currently, I am working in the Athletic Department of Clarke University. I have coordinated all phases of an athletic event, from planning through implementation.
My academic development has also prepared me for the position of Marketing Coordinator. During my training at Clarke University, I was a member of the Women’s Volleyball team, as well as Vice President of the Sport Management Club. During my coursework, I developed a promotional video, and original sport marketing, sponsorship, and fundraising plans. Since the athletic department serves as a laboratory for the Sport Management program, I have developed and implemented numerous promotions and integrated social media activities during sporting events to further engage spectators. The final project required us to plan and implement a golf fundraiser.
I welcome the challenge of exceeding expectations as a Marketing Coordinator. I am a dedicated and hard-working employee who is ready to take on any challenge and serve as a valuable member of the Madison Mallards.
