The holiday marks the end of Ramadan, a month during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset as a way of spiritual reflection. On this day, your family often engages in special prayers, dresses in new clothes, feasts on delicious food, exchanges gifts, and spends time with family and friends. Your most favorite part of the holiday is Eidi, which is money given to children and sometimes even adults during the celebrations. It’s a tradition in many Muslim cultures to give Eidi as a gesture of love and generosity, celebrating the festive occasion. On this special occasion, many Muslim households are filled with the aroma of incense sticks, as in your religions, angels are attracted to good smells, and incense sticks are a part of this tradition.
