What are values? Values are individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or another. They serve as a guide for human behavior.
What are your personal values? Beliefs that I hold close. Mine are dependability and gratitude
Why do you value them? They are my sense of morality in the world. I want to know that either a patient or friend can depend on me. And I have so much gratitude for everything based on my beliefs.
What are the values in your society? Society is the worlds view. Social values include justice, freedom, respect, community, and responsibility.
How do you make choices? I make my choices based on the set of rules that are the laws of the land.? I review the issues. Then prioritize them, then make a choice and act upon it.
Are your choices based on your values? Some of them are. And even though I might not agree, I understand that rules are put in place to maintain order.
What values are useful in society? Two of the most important are empathy and mutual respect
What are the limits to personal choice?
Who limits your choices? The law and ones moral compass.
Are limits to choices good? I believe so, and it can make one think twice before acting or reacting.
Do you limit other people’s choices? I try hard not to. I try to provide options if it is at all possible.
Should the health care organization or the government limit people’s choices? If it conflicts with care or the laws of the land then yes. If so, how and under what circumstances? Under situations that may cause harm or injury to oneself or others then yes limits and boundaries need to be set and maintained.

Why is this a dangerous assumption? This is dangerous because everyone does not think the same. Everyone has their ideas. Morals are taught differently in every home

What are your personal values?
My personal values are human dignity and respect.
Why do you value them?
I value human dignity and respect as they are basis for a fair and equitable society. Human dignity allows one to treat members of the society in a fair and just manner regardless of their age, race, ethnicity and economic status. This makes one have a sense of belonging in the society. I value respect because it enables me to treat people with kindness. It also enables me to build a healthy relationship with other members of society.
What are the values in your society?
Some of the main values of my society are equality, respect and responsibility. These values are very important as they protect members of the society from abuse of power and prejudice.
How do you make choices?
When making choices I typically avoid creating judgments based on individual preferences and decide on courses of action via mental processes. I also assess the advantages and disadvantages of my decision before acting. This enables me to make good choices.
Are your choices based on your values?
My choices are based on my values and that is why I first assess the consequences of the choices I make before making them actions. This ensures that my choices do not have any negative effect on other people.
What values are useful in society?
Some of the values that are useful in the society are accountability, dignity, fairness, honesty and humanity.
Who limits your choices?
For the most part, my choices are not governed by “who” but more so based on the greater good for the most amount of people.
Are limits to choices good?
Limits to choices are good as it enables us stick to focusing on a specific decision rather than a cluster of variety. Having many choices may prevent a persons ability to make a single decision focusing on the main situation at hand.
Do you limit other people’s choices?
I do not think I limit other peoples choices because I believe everyone has the right to make their own decisions. However, when asked for my opinion, I make educated statements far from bias and personal preference.

I think the healthcare organization and the government should limit peoples choices by creating policies and regulations benefiting the greater good of people only. This should be done when individual choices are detrimental to themselves and other members of the society can be effected.
