NJDOH has been investigating this possible disease in the residents of Passaic County and Bergen County. There have been 7 confirmed cases and still suspected cases. It has been said that people who experience pneumonia like respiratory symptoms, fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle aches, and headaches they should be evaluated by their health care provider. Most of these symptoms are like the COVID-19 symptoms so it can get confused and this can be treated with antibiotics. Mainly people over 50 who smoke cigarettes, have medical conditions, weak immune symptoms, chronic health conditions are more at risk to get this disease. Honestly, I am not really sure what can be done to prevent this from continuing. Other than maybe creating another vaccine for this so that you do not get the disease. Since this disease does not spread from person to person.
