Get it written →How is the problem of consciousness different from any other scientific problem? Why is consciousness so hard to study scientifically?
Hi this is the question i need answered above, and below is what i have so far. i feel it sounds repetitive and its also too short, please help me 🙁
For centuries, scientists and philosophers have been perplexed by the problem of consciousness. In several ways, it differs from other scientific issues, one of which is that consciousness is a subjective experience that cannot be directly observed or measured. Moreover, gathering scientific research for consciousness is difficult since it cannot be studied like genetics or biology. Another contrast is that consciousness is connected with the concept of self. A subjective experience unique to each individual where we are aware of ourselves and the world around us is thought of as the self. Since the self, similar to consciousness, cannot be observed, and each individual has their own version of self, gathering empirical data is inaccessible at this time. Consciousness is inextricably connected to the problem of understanding the relationship between the brain and our minds. The brain is the material organ responsible for the generation of consciousness, but the mind is the subjective experience. Understanding how the brain generates consciousness is a complex scientific problem because it necessitates understanding how the brain’s physical processes give rise to subjective experience. One of the main reasons consciousness is so troublesome to study carefully is that it is a complex and vast wonder. Consciousness has many facets, including knowledge, consideration, idea, thinking, and impression.
Moreover, various parts of the brain interfere with each of these facets, making it again difficult to gather concrete evidence.
