I designed/implemented “Nature Heals 30×30” at the University a couple years ago. Please read carefully the website information for Nature Heals 30×30 HERE . https://umnnatureheals30x30.wordpress.com/daily-activities/ In the website you will find out how the participants were sent a daily email encouraging them to go outside in nature for 30- minutes each day for 30-days as part of self-care and to learn about the healing powers of nature, etc.
Your final Experience assignment is to create what you would send out as one of the 30×30 daily emails, including:
Image – find an image that captures the imagination of healing powers in nature.
Quote – find a meaningful quote from famous Naturalist, or poet, or someone who expressed their belief in nature’s power.
Activity – think of a simple activity a person could do to increase their self-care while in nature (do not repeat any of the “Experience” activities used in the course).
Technology – find an app that could help with an ecological lifestyle or contribute to the betterment of our earth; or Video (on website it is identified as “Watch”) or select a video with topic on healing powers of nature or could be a TED talk or could be a short animation or could be of caring for yourself with nature.
Research Spotlight – include hyperlinks for two articles you found most useful during class
