This 25-year-old female was brought to the emergency department (ED) because she was unconscious. Her roommate found her in her bedroom at their apartment and called 911. She has been treated recently for depression, and her bottle of amitriptyline was empty. The roommate also reports that her bottle of diazepam was empty. Roommate estimates that there may have been about 20 pills in each bottle. According to the evidence, it appears as if she used alcohol to take the pills, and this was confirmed during drug screening. She left a suicide note stating that she could not go on living. Aggressive measures included stomach pumping to remove pill fragments. While in the ED she went into cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed. She could not be revived and was pronounced dead at 2305 due to an overdose of amitriptyline and diazepam. List the diagnosis and procedure codes for facility reporting. Do not assign evaluation and management codes.
