So, I’ve got some news for you all. We’ve had a tough year, as you know due to the Covid-19 situation, but our clinic is recovering slowly but surely. But, of course, something had to mess up. Because Joe, submitted a claim to Medicare without the doctor authorization last week, Medicare reviewers have decided to pay us a visit next month. 

I suppose this is just something that we will have to get used to, even if it wastes all our time in the process because I am thinking that this will also trigger a visit from Medicaid. So from now on, before you submit your documentation and your charges, I will need to review them and sign off on them first. Only after I sign off, can you leave the facility. This new change will prevent careless errors that will end up costing the clinic thousands of dollars thus impacting you as well.
