How the learning theories reviewed in lecture relate to your own personal experiences of learning

For discussion this week, you will consider how the learning theories reviewed in lecture relate to your own personal experiences of learning. In your initial post, please address the following prompts: 

Describe a time when you learned something new.

This should be a “real-life” situation that took place outside of the classroom and should thus involve learning at work, at home, in your personal life, etc. 

Explain the process you went through to learn this new skill or information and justify how one of the learning theories we examined in lecture applies to your learning experience.

Remember, in lecture we reviewed: operant conditioning, classical conditioning, cognitive constructivism, and social constructivism.
