In “Snowpiercer”, the train could could be seen as a “built world” or a process of “worldbuilding” . One could reasonably argue that themes from both week 2’s readings ( “estrangement” and “world building”) are woven throughout the film .

1) Describe the structure of the world built represented by the train .

2) What are its social structural processes ? In other words , how do different individuals/ groups relate to each other, their own groups, other groups, the train as a whole system? Are there ways of differentiating these groups ? How?
