1. Compare and contrast Christian counseling with secular counseling
2. Explain proper and improper use of prayer and scripture in a counseling setting.
3. Differentiate between the attachment styles and then from your perspective analyze the connection between attachment style with others and attachment style with God.
4. Discuss your views on the strengths and weaknesses of the Christian Psychology model.

Question 1-
Sibcy referred to attachment theory at a metatheory. Explain this statement and the implications for counseling.
Attachment styles can play a role in suicidal ideation. According to the lecture, what role does it play and what ways can counselors use this information in relieving suicidal thoughts? Be very specific.
In what ways does attachment theory influence your approach to counseling?
Question 2-
Allender made the statement, Nothing reveals the glory of God like your face. Discuss the implications of this statement for you personally and professionally.
Respond to Allenders comment that evils desire is to destroy your gender. 
Allender contends that promiscuity has little to do with desire. What do you think? Support your position.
Question 3-
From chapter 7 of McMinn: Many clients struggle with the thought of forgiving someone who has hurt them in deep and profound ways. They may also struggle with others (family, friends, church) who “encourage” them to “just forgive and move on”. What research has been conducted on the struggles related to forgiveness, false beliefs about the nature of forgiveness, and the benefits of forgiving for the one offering it? Please develop a response you will use with such clients, and support you approach with research articles as well as appropriate scripture.
