Use the information in the Assignment Resources section as well as reliable resources that you may find on your own to prepare a presentation on the assigned research method. Present your model using a presentation tool (PowerPoint, Prezi, Emaze, PowToon, or other presentation tool).  Your presentation should include the following slides/frames with sound (either video or voiceover):
  • a title slide/frame,
  • approximately one to three slides/frames addressing the background/history of the method,
  • approximately five slides/frames addressing the major features of the research method,
  • a slide/frame explaining when this method would be appropriate (strengths/benefits of the method) and when it would not be the best approach for conducting research,
  • a slide/frame detailing an example of how this method could be used in educational research,
  • a reference slide/frame in APA format (Some presentation tools make it difficult to indent, italicize, etc.  It is best to create references in Word, then copy and paste into your presentation.)  You may attach a reference page in a Word document in the Comment box.
 
As with any presentation, you should include graphics or images that will help the audience visualize the model in action.  Make sure the video or voiceover is audible. Do not read the slides verbatim to your audience! The voiceover should enhance and complement the information on the slide, not duplicate the information. If you include a video, make certain that it is from a reliable source and that it is embedded so it will play.
