You are at a fundraiser for the local HS football team, and you are seated with a group of parents of the players and cheerleaders.  One of the parents begins chastising the school for the random drug testing program for athletes, and others chime in, saying "it’s legalized, anyway,"  "It’s just pot – we all did it," "they should worry about the harder drugs at this age," and "I’d rather they drink in my basement and not worry about them driving home." Finally, another parent says "they should worry about the kids from the highrise, not our kids. We are good families, we work hard."

One of the parents look towards you, and said "wait, aren’t you in school for this type of thing? What do you think about kids smoking pot or drinking every now and then? It”s harmless, right? Kids can’t get addicted, can they?" 

You begin your response with "Actually, I just saw a very interesting documentary on the topic called Generation Found…"

What would you tell them about the documentary and adolescent substance use? No need to reference your response, but please include information on the topic that you learned in the documentary as well as in the course thus far or other studies.
