CC3, CC5): In this week’s readings, we explored how psychology contributes to the investigation of crimes. We reviewed the methods used by professionals during the investigation process, including profiling, interrogating and interviewing. While these methods serve a purpose, research has identified some limitations with some of these techniques, sometimes resulting in false confessions or inaccurate eyewitness identification.
