Background: Congratulations, you are a well-known and respected forensic nurse activist in your professional nursing community. An important bill is being considered in your state legislature related to weapons and youth (or another needed policy change that is important to you but related to violence or forensics).

The state nurses’ association government relations chairperson has reached out to you for assistance in preparing a position statement.

Prepare a draft position paper for use by the professional nurse’s association; maximum length 2 pages. Include the following:

1. Begin with a title page and introduction,
2. Under a level heading present the position paper,
3. Close with a robust conclusion, and
4. Include a minimum of 4 scholarly references
