Understanding a process and the expected outputs is key in any business.

Posting 1:

The histogram represents the detailed presented of the group by comparing each other. on X-axis we may take the number of people, and on Y-axis we take a special character what we want to compare. when we present all this information together, it makes a graphical representation. by looking into the graph it can be easily found who is good, who is average and who is poor.

Histograms consider the performance of all people at once and shown the values of their performance with lines. the one who reached a higher level, he is the best performer in that aspect and the one who gets the lower line he is the worst performer in that aspect. by using this diagram we can easily compare how the team performance is for each individual.

If we do not use the histogram and use some other graphs, it may not be easy to understand to compare to each other’s performance.

Posting 2:

Understanding a process and the expected outputs is key in any business. This simulation is representative of issues that manufactures today see in their processes. Beginning a project of this nature by collecting data allows the team to see what is currently happening in the process, and gives them a baseline by which to improve upon. Collecting the data and using a histogram allowed the group to determine if the process is operating within it’s limit and variation exists. The histogram suggests a normal distribution of outputs meeting specification. The next tool used was a control chart. By placing the same data into a control chart special causes can be identified. This is exactly what the group saw and was able to identify the special cause relating to a machine issue. Without collecting the data and analyzing using both tools, the group would have basically been chasing opinions and not be able to hone in on improving this process.
