Using AHIMA Code of Ethics create an ethics quiz.

The Ethics Quiz must contain at least 10 questions.

The Ethics Quiz can contain a variety of question types (multiple choice, T/F, matching, fill-in-the-blank, etc.).

Review the AHIMA’s Code of Ethics located in the Assignment Files section.

Each question must address a different standard in the AHIMA Code of Ethics.

Each question must contain a scenario which violates one of the standards in the AHIMA Code of Ethics

Create an answer key which contains reasons to support the correct answer

Submit a quiz and answer key for grading. Each group member must submit both the quiz and answer key. Papers from all group member must match.

Sample Question:

T/F Sally Smith applied for a position are ABC Hospital. On the application, one of the questions asked if the applicate had an RHIA. Sally Smith has an RHIT but thinks that is good for the position and responds “Yes” to the question indicating that she had an RHIA. Sally has violated AHIMA’s Code of Ethics Standard XI.11.2

Sample Response:

The answer to this question is false. The AHIMA Code of Ethics that was violated is Standard IX,9.3. Sally misrepresented her professional credentials.
