Chapter 12-Personality.Note:chapter 12 is attached.—Writing Assignment InstructionsStudents may choose to write their paper on any ONE chapter that we cover this semester Students are not required to cover ALL topics discussed within a chapter.Important: Please do not choose a chapter or a topic from any chapters that we do not cover this semester (please refer to the course calendar for all chapters covered this semester), and please do not cover multiple chapters in this writing assignment.1. The essay must begin with an introductory paragraph that provides readers with a brief overview that clearly states what chapter you are writing your paper about and why you chose that chapter.2. The introductory paragraph must be followed by the body of your paper that discusses your chapter in detail that must include textbook material, and it MUST also include personal experiences that apply directly to your chosen chapter or discuss how you relate directly to the topic chosen in detail.Important Note: Failing to include textbook material AND how you directly relate to the chapter chosen throughout your writing assignment will hurt your grade. For example, most of your paper should not be a narrative about your personal experiences/how you relate to the chapter you chose, AND most of your paper should not only be definitions and information directly from the textbook; your paper should offer an even balance of both to meet criteria!!3. Your paper must include a separate body paragraph for your conclusion that briefly but clearly explains what you have learned about the field of psychology as it relates to your chapter chosen.4. You must provide a cover page that includes the following: Your name, the instructor’s name (my name), The course name, and the Title of your essay.5. The body of the writing assignment (this does not include your cover page) must be 800-1000 words typed, double-spaced with a 12-pt. font, Times New Roman or Arial fonts only.6. The writing assignment must be submitted as a word document only. Use “Normal” format 1-inch margins (all the way around). Your writing assignment must be submitted as an attached word document only by 11:59pm on 4/30/20. (See late policy) *Your writing assignment is worth 200 points or 20% of your total grade (1000 points maximum).Writing Assignment Rubric:1.
