Perform and write a needs analysis, including:
sport analysis (events, metabolic needs, strength/power, endurance, etc.);
physical needs;
assistance;
equipment;
injury risk and epidemiology; and
considerations for time of year.
Then create a preliminary training plan using at least four references. This plan must include:
biomechanics of the event,
physiology – metabolic needs, energy source,
epidemiology – common injuries/illnesses in the sport,
equipment, nutrition, assistance, medical considerations – boosting, thermoregulation, etc.
