You will first need to complete the case study in Assessment Task 2. This role play will follow on from that Case Study.

Allan has incurred further struggles when transferring in and out of his bed and into his wheelchair. His ability to complete daily tasks such as eating and basic hygiene needs has also deteriorated. It is becoming overly difficult and impractical to continue management of Allan at home, even with the additional assistance he receives.

You have arranged a meeting with Allan and a member of his family, to re-visit the option of moving Allan into a high care residential facility. You are aware that both Allan and his family are not comfortable with this proposal, however they cannot afford to continue maintaining the level of current care as it is no longer meeting Allan’s needs.

You will need to:
