Essay on drama: Once introduced to Fences and A Streetcar Named Desire, you will find it difficult to forget the characters and themes represented in these powerful works. Discuss a major theme that runs throughout these dramas. Your essay should include a thorough analysis of at least three characters, including the emotional/physical make-up of these characters, and situations in which they encounter. Show how and if the characters grow and/or change from the beginning to the end of the plays and how all this ties in or does not tie in with the playwrights lives. State your thesis in the first paragraph, underline it, and then support it with logical, well- developed and well-organized paragraphs. (Dont be afraid to incorporate literary devices such as similes and metaphors of your own in this paper.) The essay must be three pages with page four as your Works Cited page. You must follow MLA format in presentation of your paper, which must be typed and double-spaced. Please note that you must incorporate quotes directly from the texts to support your findings and you must use at least one scholarly resource to support your statement for each play.
