Differentiation is a crucial aspect of guiding students in cognitive development. Teachers should have a variety of differentiation strategies to help adolescents develop cognitively.

Complete the “Cognitive Development Activities” template and design three activities that could be differentiated for students in various stages of cognitive development in your content area. Use Piaget’s stages of cognitive development theory, as you analyze differentiation strategies for various stages of cognitive development. Align these activities to the appropriate content area standards in your state. Your activities should show a connection to stages of cognitive development, multiple intelligences, or moral development.

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

Motivational Theories and Factors

To be effective, a company must learn to motivate its employees to efficiently meet the goals of the organization.  Using what you know about motivation and the field of I/O psychology, respond to the following:

1. Propose at least three ways to motivate others in the workplace.
2. Create a strategy for enhancing your own motivation in the workplace.
3. Compare and contrast two motivational theories (found in Chapter 7 of your course text) of your choice.
4. Finally, discuss the pros and cons of using financial incentives in the workplace.

Your assignment must be two to three double-spaced pages in length (excluding title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA guidelines as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.  Include a cover page and reference page formatted in APA style.  In addition to the textbook, utilize at least one scholarly peer-reviewed source that was published within the past five years.
