In this assignment, you are being asked to research how other researchers have defined and operationalized constructs. You will research three constructs selected from a given list. You will also provide a conceptual and operational definition of a construct you might measure for your intended research or quantitative example for this course. Your full assignment response will include four constructs in total.
Conduct scholarly research that has been published within the past five years that measures three constructs selected from the list of constructs provided. Rather than present a traditional paper, organize the document by your selected constructs.
Provide a conceptual definition. Feel free to use direct quotes from the research article. Include appropriate APA style format. Then provide an operational definition that includes a measurement for the variable, and explain the level of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio) that is generated.
List of Constructs. Select three constructs from the following list.

• Self-Concept
Once this is completed, provide a conceptual and operational definition of a construct you might measure for your intended research or quantitative example for this course.
Length: Your paper should be between 5-7 pages, not including title and reference page.
References: Include a minimum of eight (8) scholarly sources.
Your presentation should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.

Assignment 1: Welcome aboard BUS 7320, it is great to see you getting started with the course. Business Research Methods is quite an interesting area. In this 10-point assignment the objective is to Draft a Research Problem, Purpose, and Research Questions. You should provide an overview of your research problem and the process you would use to study it. You should include the purpose of the study and clearly state the null and alternative hypotheses. You should also describe how you could research your topic through a quantitative lens. In other words, explain what quantitative methods you might use as you research the problem and related questions.
You did some good work here identifying a good issue to study and then explaining how it can be approached using quantitative methods. You listed a set of statistical methods to use and then stated reasonable hypotheses. So, you are off to a good start!
Assignment 2: It is good to see another paper from you. In this 10-point assignment the main purpose is to analyze secondary data sets using tables and figures to explain and support your answers to various questions. Make sure to be specific and practice creating your own figures. Tables or charts may also be taken from some website source obtained from running a Google image search. However, be sure to cite the source using APA formatting. Your paper must be at least 5 pages and can be as long as 10 pages, if tables and/or figures are included. It should also include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources.
You did most things well here. But the big missing item is an introduction. You really need to develop the habit of starting all papers with an introduction that explains both the assignment and your paper in your own words. This is an important skill to develop whether you are writing a paper or perhaps giving a presentation.
