THE PROMISE As a Christian university, GCU and COE take a proactive approach to developing students’ servant leadership skills and ensuring the success of our alumni in educational settings. While the college’s accredited programs are designed to equip students for a career in education, our faculty, staff and college leaders understand the unique challenges a career in education might occasionally present.

We promise to actively assist all COE graduates who need support in an educational setting. Since 1984, we have upheld this promise to provide additional support. To honor this promise, we ask graduates to pledge to uphold a high level of excellence in the educational setting.
