Criteria for the Inclusion/Exclusion
It is intended for the young adult demographic aged 18-25 who are prone to experience mild to moderate anxiety and depressive disorders. Inclusion criteria for participation: Current diagnosis of GAD or MDD; membership requires attending weekly sessions and participating in group activities. These parameters ensure the full contribution of a participant while leveraging all available benefits from the treatment process.
More exclusion criteria would be defined for the group's safety and efficacy. Individuals who have present active suicidal ideation or have made a suicide attempt should not be included, and they would need intensive individual care. People with severe personality disorders that could pose a danger to interpersonal dynamics, with current substance use disorders, or experiencing acute psychosis would also be excluded. All of these would be necessary to be in a supportive and stable group environment that would not detract or threaten anyone with their journey into recovery.
Group Size and Structure
The group is going to maintain an intimate small size of approximately 8-10 members for a good attention and participation opportunity for all members. This would allow for meaningful engagement yet provide sufficient diversity in experience and perspective. The group will be closed after two sessions so that members have more opportunity to develop a sense of cohesion and trust.

Orientation Procedure
Confidentiality Measures
Confidentiality will be maintained through a written agreement signed at the first session, accompanied by a verbal clarification of confidentiality limits about self-harm or harm to others, social media use, and outside contact. Participants will receive regular reminders about not disclosing inside group discussions. "This is a safe and supportive space where we will work together to share, learn, and grow" (Mishra, 2024) indicates the gravity of having one such space that is safe and supportive. It helps ensure that all participants feel secure enough to express themselves openly.
Informed Consent Process
The regimen of informed consent will include written documentation of possible advantages and disadvantages and a lucid description of purposes and methods of group action, along with the rights and duties of the members. Also, it will include emergency procedures and crisis resources, provide consent documentation for recording sessions if applicable, and provide opportunities for participants to ask questions and receive clarifications. In this way, it will ensure that all participants are thoroughly equipped for group activities and expectations.
Group Rules Establishment
All rules will be established collaboratively with the application of motivational interviewing techniques to promote member buy-in. Reference to Yarmand et al. (2021), examples of some major rules include:

· Attendance and punctuality.
· Active participation within personal boundaries.
· Maintaining confidentiality.
· No audio or video recording or sharing of group content.
· Appropriate use of technology.
· Protocol for dealing with conflicts or issues.
