For this assignment, you will write a thesis statement to use in your paper and draft the outline for how your paper will look.
Prompt
Develop a thesis statement to use in your research paper. Your thesis statement will be the central argument in your paper. It needs to be your own original statement, and it must be supported by the sources you selected in Assignment #2; you may also add sources you have found since then. The thesis you write for this assignment will serve as a rough draft for the thesis statement you will use in assignment #4 when you write the final draft of your research paper.
After you’ve written your thesis statement, create an outline of how you plan to write your research paper. Outline your introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Identify the topic sentences of each paragraph, where you will use your sources, and the order in which you will present your argument.
At the end of the outline, please include the final draft of the sources that you plan to use for your paper. Remember that you must use at least three credible sources, and that your choice of sources should be based on the feedback you received in the previous assignment.
