A Healthy Pregnancy Starts with Healthy Teeth • Target Audience: Pregnant women. 2 Guidelines: ➢ Prepare 15-20 PowerPoint slides based on the selected topic ➢ You can use graphics that serve your topic with clear illustration ➢ Write the appropriate references using APA style ➢ Avoid plagiarism ➢ The total presentation time should be 10 to 15 minutes with assuring that all presenters participated equally and helped each other as needed. ➢ All the presentations to be completed by week-14. So, contact your instructor for the time allotment for your group in advance. ➢ For submission in the blackboard: Paste the PPTs in word document ( with the cover sheet) or save it as pdf file. Fair 1 Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. Good 1.5 Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Subject Knowledge Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject. Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions. Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate. Graphics Student uses superfluous graphics or no graphics Student’s graphics relate to text and presentation. Mechanics Student’s presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors. Multiple group members not participating. Evident lack of preparation/rehearsal. Dependence on slides. Student occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation. Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Organization Group Dynamics Total Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
