It helps determine nutrient intake, dietary patterns, and potential deficiencies. Clinical data will include the client’s past medical history and a physical assessment. The medical history will include information gathered from the patient regarding any acute or chronic illnesses, past diagnostic procedures, treatments, and medications. A physical assessment will be performed to measure muscle loss, fat loss, fluid status, and micronutrient status.
