In your eighth discussion forum post you are asked to practice writing annotations for two of the sources that you plan to use in your capstone project. For the bibliographic citation, use the documentation style most appropriate to the discipline of your project. Then write an annotation that includes the following :

FIRST, at the top of your post, clearly state your intended thesis or topic for your capstone project at the beginning of your post along with your two cognates or disciplinary perspectives. Then, for each source:

summarize — what is the source’s main arguments?;

assess — does this source reveal bias? Do you agree with the writer’s approach/methods/ arguments? Why or why not?; and

reflect —how does this source fit into your project? Has it changed the way you think about your topic or approach? From which disciplinary or cognate perspective is it written?

• After writing the two annotations, write a paragraph in which you reflect on your annotations and express any concerns or ask any questions you have about the annotated bibliography assignment. Please make it clear which discipline or cognate is represented by each of your sources.
