User guide: Develop a written (5 pages or less) user guide for an instrument or tool used to collect data relevant for coastal geotechnical engineering in a way that an unexperienced user could apply the device confidently and successfully.

• Desktop research: Investigate a topic relevant for coastal geotechnics and write a report about your research. The report needs to include an introduction of the topic, a description of methods that led to the results, results, a discussion of results, conclusions, and a reference list. The page limit is 10 pages with figures. This study needs synthesize multiple materials from the literature and/or must be based on your own calculations or tests. It is insufficient to summarize one existing study.
