In my last Discussion posts and responses to my classmates, I have obtained most of the guidelines mentioned in the critical reading, thinking, and analysis checklist; however, I could still be better. In this factor, I have achieved the criteria by providing evidence-based justifications. Let me give you an instance. In the discourse on climate change, I backed my arguments with the source of data from the reliable scientific studies and reports of environmental organizations. This has enabled me to fortify my ideas and have logical argumentation. Nevertheless, I have areas where I still can further contributions. An instance is topic comprehension. Despite the fact I provide adequate evidence to back my assertions, it would be good to explore the ramifications and to analyze the issue as well as the wider context. On the same topic, I could consider automation effects not only on the job markets but also on the society in the long term.
The other factor which needs to be worked on is involving multiple perspectives. However, I have been considerate when dealing with other members, but I now understand that I need to actively seek and consider alternative viewpoints. This may bring some life into the discussions and lead to deeper understanding of complicated things. An example of this could be engaging in a dialogue with students and educators from a multicultural community to then have a better understanding of the strengths and the challenges of cultural diversity in educational settings. My action plan is to devote more time to research and investigation prior to posting my replies. In addition, I will take the initiative to pursue a variety of opinion and work them into my involvement. I will also do my part by asking more phenomenal questions which prompt the pupils to explore the abstract concepts deeply on their own. Through these procedures, I will be able to meet and surpass the requirements nicely stated on the checklist and thus be a purposeful element in further deliberations.
