This paper will review literature on efficacy of quality improvement initiatives in public and private sector organizations

Short description

The public sector has a history of providing quality initiatives and services to its citizens, including healthcare. Private providers are increasingly offering these same services in response to demand from consumers who want high-quality care at a lower cost than they would pay in the public sector. Both types of providers have advantages and disadvantages when it comes to providing quality initiatives, but there are some key differences between them:

• The public sector has greater access to funding for new projects than private providers do because it does not have shareholders or investors who expect profits from their investments; therefore, it can invest more aggressively than private companies. However, this may lead into financial trouble if there’s no return on investment (ROI) after several years’ time–for example, if patients don’t show up for appointments due to lack of transportation options available outside city limits where most hospitals are located–and so forth…

The public sector is more regulated and has less flexibility than the private sector. As a result, quality initiatives are often implemented in the public sector as a means of improving performance and reducing costs. In conclusion, there are many benefits to QI in public and private sectors. The findings of this study suggest that while the efficacy of QI in public sector institutions has been well-documented and discussed, its effects on private institutions remain largely unexplored. Our findings also support the notion that integrating social and ecological perspectives should be a priority for future research on QI initiatives in education.
