In this post, we’ll explore how social inequality works and what you can do about it. We’ll look at the theories behind it, including economic models and political systems. We’ll also discuss what structures promote or hinder equality in society (like laws), and ways to change those structures to promote more equitable outcomes.

Social inequality is the difference in social status between people. This can be a result of differences in power, wealth and resources, but it can also be caused by discrimination.

The winners in this system are those who benefit from the current system: the wealthy elite who own large amounts of property; large corporations; politicians; religious leaders/leadership groups etc…
Theories of social inequality
Social inequality is the result of the way society is organized. Theories about social inequality can be divided into two categories: structural and cultural. Structural theories focus on how institutions and systems are organized, while cultural theories focus on how people think about themselves, others and their world.
Structuralists believe that social inequality exists because of differences in power between groups within a society or across countries; these power differences lead to unequal access to resources such as education or employment opportunities (Bourdieu & Wacquant).
