Organizational strategies are a great way to structure your business and help you save time and energy. They can also provide added focus, clarity, and direction. The four organizational strategies below are some of my favorites:
Marker-and-mirror strategy
This strategy is a visual representation of the main idea, with supporting details. It’s useful for visual learners and people who like to see the big picture first. It’s also good for brainstorming because you can use it to help everyone get on the same page before starting a discussion.
Marker-and-mirror strategies are great at getting everyone on board with your goals, but they don’t always work so well when you want to take action immediately after brainstorming something new or different within your organization.

List the main points in a bullet list. This is a great way to provide an overview of your organization’s work and goals, as well as what you’ve done so far. If you have a lot of information to share, use numbers or tables for organization purposes; otherwise, use bullets for easy reading and recognition.

Use charts if you want to make sure that everyone understands them clearly (and if they’re really complicated).
T-chart strategy
T-chart strategy is a simple way to organize your thoughts. It’s also a good way to organize information, because you can use it to compare and contrast two things, make decisions and solve problems.
The T-chart strategy has five parts:

The title of the chart

Two sets of data (or variables) – one for each axis (for example, “what we’ve learned” vs “what we want”)

A decision point where you must decide whether something should stay at its current level or be raised or lowered based on new information from outside sources

An action point where you must decide what actions need taken next based on this information
Tree diagram strategy
A tree diagram is a visual representation of information. It represents relationships between ideas, events and objects in an hierarchical way, making it easier to see how they are connected. For example, if you wanted to illustrate how the three Corporate Functions (Product Development, Sales & Marketing and Finance) interact with each other within your organization then you could use a simple tree diagram like this:
