The goal is not simply to make better decisions; rather, it’s about having good data available so that you can make better decisions based on what you know about your patient population and their needs—not just what you think might work for them based on personal experience or intuition alone.

This process begins with identifying gaps in our knowledge through systematic reviews that draw from multiple sources: other published studies; meta-analyses (meta-analysis combines multiple studies); systematic reviews (a synthesis). These are then used as inputs into more formalized methods such as clinical trials aimed at testing hypotheses derived from previous research—or even new ones altogether!

Background and problem/need/issue to be addressed.

The problem is that evidence-based practice (EBP) is not widely used in medicine, and this lack of EBP results in suboptimal patient care.

This means having an emergency response system in place where patients can get help quickly when needed—this includes ambulances coming quickly from other facilities near by so there isn’t any long wait time until help arrives at our hospital emergency room!
