The last assignment is a final presentation in which the student synthesizes his, her, or their learning from the course. It consists of three parts: a professional Sway presentation that will be shared during the live learning session in week 10, a national and local resources list to be shared with your peers, and a reference list. Because students will share their learning with their peers, this assignment is due by the beginning of the live learning session in Week 10 and all peer-review sheets will be due by the end of the live learning session in week 10.
Sway Presentation: Create a professional Sway presentation that includes key areas of information you learned in this course and focuses on your assigned group. Your goal is to educate your peers about your assigned historically marginalized group this quarter. Provide a description of the assigned group that is the focus of the presentation including a brief sociodemographic description specific to the community in which the student is located, as well as on the national level. If your assigned group does not have a presence in your community then you may use only national statistics and information. Include recommendations to your peers on ways to better serve the clients addressed in the presentation.
Resource List: Provide a list of culturally responsive organizations, readings, or podcasts that could be accessible to your peers if they were interested in seeking more information. In addition to turning the resource list into your instructor, make it available to your peers.
Finally, provide a reference list of sources that informed your presentation.
