The following is a reflection journal paper on the validation of nursing students' adoption of the course goals of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs for the DNP- 388 of the university. This also involves achieving the goals outlined in the Essentials of Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice document published by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) (AACN, 2019). The Essentials of DNP Skills Programs outlined by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing provide a basis for university graduates. The AANCN fundamentals lay the groundwork for competency for all nurses pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice license and degree, from the theoretical and scientific basis of nursing through advanced nursing practices.
When it comes to DNP practices, the most important practical skills are those directly related to the area of specialization. Every Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) recipient must demonstrate competency in the areas of psychological, behavioral, economic, and cultural applications in assessment skills and procedures (AACN, 2019). DNP recipients have shown proficiency in various program abilities and skills. Scholars have developed impressive critical-thinking skills and a framework for making quick, mature decisions under pressure. Graduates tend to possess a range of remarkable abilities, including applying a systematic and the right health and sickness assessment framework to complex health care cases while drawing on a range of cultural perspectives (Pritham & White, 2016). It is organized in health science and allied fields alongside the design, application, and interpretation of therapeutic conciliation. Leadership skills and the ability to assess and mitigate complicated health and medical risks have also been developed by DNA scholars. Therefore, this paves the way for innovative and methodical problem-solving, demographic, and political analysis, and maneuvering within the medical context (AACN, 2019).
Reflection
Due to the expansion and rising cases of health care complexity, DNP practices necessitate a go with mandate that reassesses the education and of the clinical and all health professionals. I learned about the DNP program's details, the quality of care provided to the community, and its socioeconomic and environmental impacts. I learned about the new phases of health care delivery systems that are expected after the completion of the program, including consultative leadership in interpersonal and occupational relationship maintenance. Furthermore, I expected that as I undergo the DNP program demanded that I should advocate for more just and ethical practices within healthcare institutions and organizations. Care planning and authoritative guidance are also needed in forming health care financing foundations. Adoptions and sensitization of the developing communication technologies sparked a need for correct and fast health information delivery. I found out that the skills gained from the program show competence in using the appropriate formal and up-to-date information sources and securing patient health and clinical data. The DNP program helps find and recognize cutting-edge, high-quality care dispensation frameworks to disseminate best practices in patient safety and quality of care (Pritham & White, 2016). The application of information and essay servers is critical in the sentimental articulation of ideas regarding the AACN DNP program. In addition, the positive effects reaffirm technology's role in health care on providers' credibility and capacity to make progress in providing high-quality care.
Conclusion
The completion of the DNP program at the university is a significant achievement. The professor was at the forefront to offer commendable guidance, support, and timely reminders during the discussion weeks. The DNP scholar has developed much knowledge and great experience during the course and general DNP programs. Generally, knowledge reflection results from experience and better nursing decisions on their practices (Pritham & White, 2016). Health care stakeholders and the AACN are elemental in ensuring the spreading of knowledge and expertise and equipping professional practices. The program offers the best outcome in competence of healthcare providers if all requirements are followed accordingly.
