Option B: Part I: Multimedia Presentation (100 points) Choose a theme from the novel you have read and using an audio recording device create a 5-10 minute presentation. Consider what visual aids would be appropriate for the presentation. Images can clarify abstract concepts. Your visual aids should be informative and helpful in your presentation. You may also want to include video or audio clips to help clarify any key points. Plagiarism: All work submitted should be your own. While it is fine to consult internet sources as a reference after you have read the novel, all writing must be your own. Any student who submits any type of work or a key interpretive idea that is not his/her own is guilty of plagiarism and will receive a zero for the work, and your parents will be notified. Be honest in your work and have the confidence to value your own thoughts and opinions. The student uses a few visual aids to emphasize key ideas and clarify important information. Developing (2 points) The student presents information on the topic, but not all points are clear. The student’s presentation has some structure issues that need to be addressed. The student uses minimal visual aids to emphasize key ideas and clarify important information. Beginning (1 point) The student’s presentation is difficult to follow or understand. The student’s presentation has limited or inadequate structure.
